In that order, I'm not sure. I hear all sorts of different things all the time. I've heard to yes, always eat a big breakfast because that is your most important meal of the day. But I've also heard to eat six small meals a day and don't eat before you go to bed. The magic time is don't eat anything unhealthy after 7pm.

The magic time is don't eat anything unhealthy after 7pm. right.. that be why all the natchos and crisps late at night went!!! no I'm putting it down to beer.. too much too often (well hey is the rock and roll dream!!) but I did go to the gym today for the first time in ages .. so it's not all bad.. it was hard but it'll get easier hopefully..

McDonalds never does!
I went for a great walk today and opted for chicken instead of McDonalds today. I was tempted by the call of the Golden Arches too. LOL
I'm glad you all are doing this too. I'll keep going on my walks!

I've just been to play squash.. and then went into a sauna.. apparently a sauna make you fit.. and all you do is sit in it!!! so I'm gonna do more of that I think...

It does get easier.. the more sport you do, the easier it is to do it (sounds logical).. i think getting over the initial motivation to do it is the hardest thing.. having someone there to motivat you is the easiest way.. that's probably why people have fitness trainers.. although they cost a lot me thinks someone today made a joke about me being fat wasn't very nice.. I've just lost 1/2 stone in the last week since starting this.. and it was a bit dissheartening.. I think most of it is a beer belly now, I hope next week continues as this one has..

Someone joked about you being fat? That's not cool. Congrats about you losing 1/2 stone! I really need to learn how to "translate" that into weight, lol But really, how could anyone ever be so cold hearted?
I think the initial mind set to just get up and get on the move is the hardest battle about losing weight. I still haven't done much exercise, except for the 3.10 mile walk last Sunday. Belly dancing does start this Wednesday though and I'm uber stoked!!!

Been following you all; first of all i think you must think fit always walk when you can and do exciting things to raise your pulse. Exercise decreases stress and tends to reduce comfort eating

Yes, I heard this about starting the day off with a big breakfast, with the meals getting smaller. I find it hard to eat leaving four hours before bed time, as I sometimes get in gone 7pm after work! But I think it makes sense to try this wherever possible. I wonder how BIG our breakfasts could be!!

I tend to not have a very big apatite in the morning, so it's hard to have a big breakfast.. but I'm trying.. it does make me snack a lot less (if at all), when I manage a BIG breakfast!!!
these last few days I've done a lot of walking, as I'm in Bournmouth.. I think it's go to go walking somewhere interesting, and a bit different to your home.. so yeah the sea is amazing!! and there's a stream which is surrounded by plants and trees on the way, its about a 2 mile walk each way so it's propperly tiring m out. also sea air is really good and healthy, it makes you sleep better I've found!

Sounds lovely Trev....and yeah the sea air tends to knock me for six...in fact I'm out like a light when I go to the coast lol!
My fitness plans havent been doing so great just lately, and its getting me down...but I will get there, I need to get there ... I have 7 days before my first day back at work, and as anxious as that makes me feel I will feel even more anxious ifI dont lose a few pounds...

thajnks erin I keep thinking, **yup I will I WILL I WILL do it and do it right...but then an hour later I've forgotton what that was lol!! Any way, I am have washed the dishes today and walked to the dentist...does that count?
